Welcome to the website of the Yorkshire Churches on Show 12, 13 & 14 July: Yorkshire Churches on Show
St Michael and All Angels, Cherry Burton: a village church involved in the community (York Diocese link) Haworth: West Lane Baptist church, an old stone church now revitalised and modernised (Haworth village weblink)
St Gregory, Bedale: complete with examples of fine foods for sampling, including Ewe's milk Wensleydale cheese. SPCK: Rachel Franklin, manager, presented a selection of books, cards and fine gifts. In the Church Pavilion, the large display pictures were courtesy Yorkshire Tourist Board and Myriad Books. Students from Rossett, St John Fisher and St Aidan's high schools swelled the welcoming team, handing out post cards with details of the event, watching over crowds of youngsters queueing to paint small stones, welcoming and counting folk in and out and helping out wherever asked - well done to all..
